Spectacular back country fishing trips !

Fish remote mountain lakes and streams by horseback. Enjoy world class trout fishing against the back drop of

some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. We run half and full day trips, or we'll tailor an experience to fit

your desires.

ALL OF OUR HORSEBACK RIDES ARE GUIDED.

We offer every kind of riding experience you could ask for. From multi-day pack trips on trails along Colorado's great Continental Divide, to full and half day adventures, to short two hour excursions. We offer breakfast and lunch rides. They are a great way to combine the companionship of friends or family with a meal prepared especially for you in the great outdoors. Come with us to the high country and explore the spectacular South San Juan Mountains. Our horses are superb, and will take care of even the most inexperienced riders.

BACK COUNTRY PACK TRIPS

We take you by horseback to one of our camps in the back country at either Blue or Timber /Twin Lakes where you can fish, ride, hike or just chill. On multi-day trips your group may choose to experience both camps. Bring your sleeping bag, fishing rod, hiking shoes, & clothes and we will take care of the rest in our well supplied and comfortable camps. We cook your meals for you so that you can kick back and enjoy the majestic scenery.
We take special care and pride in our back country pack trips and really try to make them your trip of a lifetime!

Hunts: Elk, Mule Deer, Bear

ELK HUNTING IS OUR SPECIALTY

All hunts are offered in archery, muzzle loading, and 1st rifle.

Elk and Deer Hunting

We specialize in high country drop camps for elk. We’ll put you in a camp which is in the heart of elk country. It is not uncommon to be awakened at night with sounds of bugling elk during the rut in September and early October. We are in unit 81, which is a DRAW ONLY unit and can offer the chance at some excellent quality bull elk. There are many rough drainages where the bulls grow to maturity. The opportunities for a trophy bull abound for the hunter who wants to hunt hard. We also have a large population of mule deer. Archery and muzzle loader in particular yield excellent hunts for mature bucks.

Bear Hunting

Our area has a good population of Black Bears too. Be sure to tag up, or ask us about a spot and stalk bear hunt.

Freight Service

We’ll also pack you and your own gear in and out of any area you’d like to go. If you’re interested in this type of hunt, but don’t know where to go, we’ll try and be of assistance. If you pack in on foot and need an animal packed out, we’ll pack your animal out for you, as long as we can get pack stock to your trophy.
